It had been 3 days since the newly reunited Team 7 had left the Leaf Village to find Itachi. The Rokudaime had given them the task of hunting down the S-Rank Missing Nin and bring back his head.

Naruto was glad the old team was back together and was showing it in his behavior.

"Oy! Itachi! Get your emo butt out here so we can kill you! Come on! Bring it!"

This was Naruto's 10th outburst the whole trip so far...

Sasuke had his backpack on his back. His hands in his pockets. He sighed and shook his head and said "Naruto, It may be awhile before we find him" He said knowing about the akutsuki's changing hideing places.

"Plus, you should shut up,too... We don't want to have our position given away." Sakura sighed out, her arms crossed and eyes norrowed.

Naruto grumbled, "Well, he should still hurry up."

Naruto pulled out a pad and pen from his backpack as he walked

"I guess I might as well catch upon writing. This book is due in a month and I haven't found an ending yet..."

Naruto began scribbling in the notebook titled "Icha Icha Turmoil"

Sakura shook her head. "I can't believe you're writting those books." She said in disbelief, raising an eyebrow, watching him.

Naruto grinned sheepishly, "A long time ago, I ghost wrote one for Ero-Sennin. I used less pervy stuff and more action, cool pictures too! It sold better than any of his other books. So he said that when he died, I would have to keep the series going. I guess I do it to sorta honor Jiraiya-sensei."

Using Jiraiya's name was rare for Naruto, he only used his name when he was serious.

"You should read some of the newer ones Sakura-chan! I swear I cut the pervy stuff in half! The stories are awesome. This one is about the shunned child, the flower girl and the raven!"

Naruto offered her the notebook...

Sakura grabbed the notebook and looked over it. Most of the information caught her eyes and captivated her attention. "Hmph." She said.

Sasuke looked at him than said "You don't need to do that...Kakashi-sensai could do it better." Sasuke said remembering when they were kids about how much he would read that book.

Naruto laughed, "I asked Kakashi-sensei to do it before I went on my trip, but he said he preferred reading over writing. Writing them pulls in good money too and it gives me things to do while traveling on missions."

Sasuke nodded and looked forward saying "So, where was the last akutsuki base?"

"They've been here and there... Akatsuki isn't really seattling down anywhere." Sakura said, looking up to the sky.

"I know where they are hidden. Orochimaru was one of them. If you can tell me where the last base was I can tell you the next," Sasuke said closing his eyes and looking down.

Naruto grinned, "I know where it is"

When they both looked at him, Naruto continued,

"I wasn't doing nothing the past few years. Sure I've been training a lot, but I've been reestablishing the spy network that Ero-Sennin left behind. I've got spies from the Wave country, all the way to the Earth Country. It was just recently that I received word of a base that a red and black cloaked man was seen entering."

Naruto bit his thumb and made several seals, he then slamed his bleeding hand onto the ground. In a large poof of smoke, a toad that was up to Naruto's waist appeared.

"Yo! Naruto, what's up?"

"Gamakichi, mind leading us to that suspicious base in Amegakure that you found?"

"Naruto," Sasuke said as he looked at him and Gamakichi. "I have nothing wrong with your plan, but you should know we should find a Bijuu they are after, they are going after them."

Naruto smiled sadly, he had exactly what the Akatsuki was looking for...

"It's fine Sasuke, I'll be the bait, they want me the most anyway."
